So far, I’ve been waking up to do my minutes before work as well as after work! I expect to write brief update posts during the workweek and longer posts on the weekend – or whenever I have more time – after I’ve had time to reflect on anything I may have learned.
One thing about the job post I liked from yesterday was the expectation to work “without micromanagement” – that’s a good sign that they actually *want* you to have autonomy. Thumbs up. It sounds like a law practice with overflow work they want someone to cover.
Another thing I’ve learned is that requiring what I need to do before what I already want to do has been extremely effective. Not allowing myself to track my food until I’ve done my job writing really works.
15 minutes on Craigslist this morning – the one writing job looks fishy – a nonprofit with a .org domain with weird font. Lol so many postings for opioid study volunteers and egg donors as well as the usual sales positions. I need to find better job sites to look at as well as spend more time on how to better target my search. I was looking at a university site that’s under maintenance at the moment. I have tons of tabs open that I should look through :P.
