Writing for the Entertainment Industry?….

Another thing I’m doing to help my job writing habit: immediately after I hit Publish on a post, I hit Write to start on the next day’s post, even without a title, which I add at the end of the post anyway. I usually have some thought, so far, to start the next one anyway.

I had a friend who was an artist who would keep a blank canvas above his bed to get his mind ready to start work for the next day, but I like the feeling of just continuing something that’s already been started for me. I prefer not to be staring at a blank page in the morning – much less daunting, for me at least.

Started about 10 minutes on ZipRecruiter this morning before I got sidetracked answering friend’s texts. Will resume after work. Ok, I’m back – I hate to admit it but I think I’m more of a morning person than I thought – I shouldn’t work on writing after I exercise because I’m finding it harder to sit still and concentrate :P. There should be a way to search by excluding certain words like “sales” but maybe you have to join to be able to do that :P.

Wow. There are some cool jobs – like being a copywriter for Skybound Entertainment whose founder wrote The Walking Dead comics – too bad I have no interest in that show lol. Maybe I should look into writing jobs in “the [entertainment] industry” as the Angelenos say. Ok, I think I’d better start again tomorrow. I think I’ve done another 20 minutes.
