With the benefit of hindsight – now in Oct 2009 emails, yay! – I can see how we were trying to do too much – that is, if we were trying to do everything at the professional level that the work deserved. Maybe I’m too much of a perfectionist for what could have worked practically, but in any case, I have better questions now and am formulating a hypothesis about what I should have done if I had to do it all over again, if anyone asks for my advice who is still working on these issues. I’m glad to be going through this for that reason as well, as maybe it will put a bow on the whole experience that I never really resolved for myself.
