I found a really good email pitch that I got from another nonprofit that I didn’t really put into practice as well as an email suggesting a larger goal of my old boss with these projects was to expand the donor pool of the parent organization to attract more second-generation descendants of immigrants and the general American public to our causes. I’m not sure that our particular human interest story would have mass appeal but I’m sure there could have been some more support.
